Dance with Nature: Somatic Movement with Mother Earth

The trees want to sway with us. The Earth pulses to the rhythm of our hearts. Dancing wild, free, and authentically is our birthright.

This somatic dance experience invites you to reconnect with Source, Mother Earth, and your own inner wisdom. Through breath, guided movement prompts, and free-form dance, we will explore what it feels like to move from intuition rather than choreography.

In a supportive and judgment-free environment, you will be encouraged to release expectations, quiet the inner critic, and awaken the Wild Woman within. Emotions, sensations, and insights are welcome here. Through intuitive movement, breath, and play, we create space for healing, expression, connection, and joy.

No dance experience is necessary. All bodies and movement abilities are welcome.

Generational Death Care: Remembering What We Once Knew

In modern culture, death and dying have largely been outsourced, hidden
away from families and communities. This conversation explores how death
care was once held collectively across generations, and what has been lost
through our separation from grief, ritual, and communal care. Through
reflection, storytelling, and discussion, we’ll explore how reclaiming more
connected relationships with death can help restore resilience, intimacy, and
community in times of transition.

Clothing Optional Yoga

Find liberation in practicing yoga without clothes for body acceptance and deeper embodiment! You will have the opportunity to learn and practice yoga poses taught by a trained yoga instructor, to shed some self judgement and to practice self compassion and move toward enjoyment and self acceptance. This class is great for both beginners and intermediate students. This class is clothing optional - you can be completely Nude, keep some clothing on, or wear things that make you feel sexy, your choice. This will be held in a private area on the property with walls. There is no physical contact with anyone else and no sexual expression, even with someone you know who comes with you, at this class. You cannot masturbate or touch yourself sexually. You can be aroused. It is simply Yoga done in the nude. Owner and creator of Nontra Temple, Amy McBain, will be teaching this class - bringing her 20+ years of experience with yoga and meditation. We will start with deep stretching, move into some slow flow poses pairing movement with breath and creating some heat, and end with sound healing. No prior experience necessary. This is a small intimate class. Doing yoga in the nude or with little clothing can be very empowering and helps you drop more into your body and deeper into the yoga experience.

Yoni Steaming, Sunning, Gazing + Journaling

This workshop will give you the opportunity to give some loving attention to your Yoni - the sacred sanskrit word for female genitals.  This will be held in a private area in a tent open to the sun with walls.  We will start with a Yoni steaming ritual in a group while I guide you through a simple meditation to help release trauma and stagnant energy from your womb and genitals. Yoni steaming is an ancient practice used to clear negative energies and heal and open the Yoni and womb. You can be nude for this or wear a robe or long skirt. The sacred herbs will be placed in bowls filled with hot water. You will then squart or be in childs pose over the steaming bowl of herbs. I will have a few 5 gallon buckets with seats for those with mobility issues. We allow the steam to open the tissues physically and energetically, and then the herbs can soak in to help heal.  While we are steaming, I will also do some sound healing with quartz and Tibetan singing bowls. Then we will move into sunning our Yonis!  You can be fully nude, or just have your genitals exposed to the sun. You will lay back on a yoga mat with your legs open, genitals exposed and receive the energy and neutrinos of the sun for about 15 minutes while I provide sound healing with crystal bowls and rain sticks. Then if desired, you can practice Yoni gazing. If desired, a pillow will be placed before participants that want to be gazed at with appreciation, honor and respect. Those who wish to gaze will take turns gazing at the Yoni of other participants for 15 minutes. This is optional. We will end the practice with journaling, sharing and having tea.

Intentional Orgasm Discussion and Guided IO Meditation

Amy McBain, creator of the practice of Intentional Orgasm and author of the Book: Intentional Orgasm, Changing Your Life One Orgasm at a Time will present a discussion group about the practice of Intentional Orgasm, then guide a brief IO meditation. What is Intentional Orgasm? Imagine if you could harness the energy of the most intense experience most of us can ever feel in this dimension, that of Orgasm, to fuel your intentions, your desires, your life? That is the magic of Intentional Orgasm! It is a practice that can be done solo as a masturbation practice, with a partner or in a group setting. Intentional Orgasm specifics: The process I have created involves intention setting, clearing, meditation and visualization, then bringing that in the body through a special body prayer elemental energy balancing massage, and ending with using your own orgasm to shoot your intention out into the world.  The first thing we do is set intentions – what you want to let go of, clear from your life, and what you want to call in or manifest. I then ask you to write your intentions, and we do so in a spiral – spiraling the energy of the intention into your heart, into your life. Once you have set the energy of your intention, we do different energetic, meditative, spiritual practices to help clear away energies that are not yours, and find your way back to your authentic self. For this workshop, once we finish the discussion and teaching, I will guide you through a simple meditation – one that helps you get grounded and centered and completely present. We send a grounding cord down into the earth, and then utilize the power of your breath and your imagination while simultaneously utilizing the magnetic, gravitational forces from the center of the earth to help pull out of you what you need to release. Layers and layers of negative energy drip out of you down your grounding cord into the earth where Gaia takes it in and transforms and transmutes it into pure light. Once you are cleared, we cannot leave you empty as you will simply take on new negativity. Instead, I help you fill you back in with pure light, warm healing energy and the true essence of your soul. There is an element of soul retrieval in this process – you pull back into yourself all the parts of yourself that you lost or forgot or forsook along the way – all the times you compromised yourself, lost yourself, did things you later regretted, did things you knew weren’t of your highest good. Then we will do a body prayer – a self massage technique where you touch all parts of your body with four distinct touches that evoke the energies of Earth Water Air Fire to help balance your Body Heart Mind Soul. Typically, we would then anchor that energy with an Orgasm. For this workshop, we will not be doing that. We will simply hold our genitals. Then if you want, you can return to your own camp to finish with an Orgasm if you desire. This workshop will not involve any masturbation, sexual touch or any shared touch with other individuals. You will be in your own nest or mat for the meditation and body prayer. We will stay clothed for this discussion and practice.

We will spend the first 30 minutes having a thought provoking conversation where I will present information to help each other identify and remember the Divine Source that they are.

Fireside Psychic Salon

An Evening of Spirit, Story, and Sacred Connection

Join us around the fire for an intimate and heart-lit evening with Heather Ward, the beloved Backwoods Medium. In this sacred circle beneath the open sky, Heather serves as a bridge between worlds—bringing through messages, memories, and love notes from the spirit realm to those gathered.

This is not spectacle, but soul work. With warmth, clarity, and her signature no-nonsense compassion, Heather calls forth what is ready to be spoken—from ancestors, guides, and beloveds who have crossed. Sometimes fierce, often funny, always true, the messages come as medicine for the living.

This is a space of reverence and revelation, where mystery is welcome and tears are honored. Come with an open heart, a listening spirit, and the courage to be seen and held in community.

Because as the old stories say, "The ones who have gone before are never truly gone—they whisper through the wind, walk beside us in dream, and speak when the fire is just right."

Take a Walk in Her Shoes

Awaken the Intuitive Voice in Your Hands and Heart

What can a single shoe tell you about the soul who wore it? In this playful, profound workshop, Heather Ward—the Backwoods Medium—invites you to explore the art of psychometry: the intuitive reading of objects imbued with energy and story.

Participants will place one of their own shoes in a communal pile, then choose another at random—an object worn, weathered, and quietly whispering with its owner's essence. Through guided practice and gentle prompts, Heather will lead you to tune in to your natural intuitive abilities.

What images rise? What feelings stir? What truths speak from the silence?

This is a workshop for the curious-hearted, for those ready to trust the subtle, sacred language of touch and perception. No prior experience is necessary, only a willingness to listen deeply and speak what comes.

Come take a walk in someone else’s shoes, and in doing so, step more fully into your own.

Norse Blot

A Blot is a Nordic drinking/feasting ritual where different rounds are dedicated to toasting to various aspects/influences in our lives. Folks are encouraged to bring their own drink of choice, usually adult in nature but non-alcoholic is perfectly viable (it is considered bad form to get wasted). While the generic format is the same, each Blot is unique, and at its heart, I believe it's a community-building ceremony. Bring a comfy chair or pillow to sit on and your beverage of choice. Cheese and crackers will be provided.

The Village Within

Building Strong Community Through Matriarchal Practices & Leadership

This workshop is rooted in the idea that community is something we actively create, tend, and nurture together. In a world that often encourages isolation, competition, capitalism, consumption, urgency, and individualism, matriarchal practices invite us back into connection, collaboration, care, community and shared wisdom.

This is not about gender roles or recreating hierarchy in another form. It is about exploring leadership through presence, relationships, listening, accountability, intuition, and community care.

Portraits of the Disappeared and a "how to" for Modern Activism

I propose being a working artist in residence on site. I will set up a studio space to do my art, but for my workshops I will talk about my Portraits of the Disappeared project and activism now. I want to tell the story of each person I have painted and talk about, being an activist in the current resistance movement. I will talk about the actions I am considering doing in the future. But the take-away focus of this workshop will be brainstorming ways to resist the injustice of ICE spreading into our local communities, how we can proceed, and concrete actions people in attendance can go home and organized themselves.

Frame Drum: Wisdom from the Ancestors (performance and herstory)

Join the Seven Sisters an all female percussion ensemble as the present one of the most ancient percussion tools, the frame drum. A simple instrument that has been found in every culture of the world. This beautiful instrument carries a rich and ancient tradition from prehistory and carries a knowledge of the sacred, healing, play, dance, songs, and group interaction with it. As well as a vibrant history of women drummers who were the distinguished leaders of cities and controlled not only the religious ceremony, but the distribution of wealth, food, and the approving of local politicians and the advisors of the royals. The inherent knowlege that these drums and drummers carry is goes against the flow of modernization and current technology (A.I., apps, independence tech) that is used in more and more. The drum requires multiple people interacting in real time: listening, addings their part, synchronizing, entraining body movements and more. All of this leads to a new modern way of relating based on relationships, sensitivity, and community. This workshop will be interactive, historical, and performance based.
