And More

Talent Show.png
Talent Show

This isn’t your middle school talent show. This is wild, sacred, unfiltered expression.

The Wild Woman Talent Show is a celebration of our many medicines—silly, soulful, strange, and spectacular. Whether you sing to the moon, tell stories passed down through bone and blood, juggle herbs and hula hoops, recite poetry from the ashes of your healing, or just want to make us laugh until we cry—this is your stage.

Come as you are. Let the firelight hold you.
No judgment. No competition. Just radical creativity, courage, and community.

Sign up at the Welcome Table or simply show up ready to be witnessed.
We cheer loudly. We cry openly. We honor the beauty in each woman’s voice.

Got something weird and wonderful to share? Good. We’re ready.

Free Store.png
Free Store

What if you could take what you need without spending a dime? Or maybe share some items that no longer serve you but could help someone else? That's exactly what our *Free Store* at the Wild Woman Weekend is all about!

What is a Free Store?

A Free Store is a space where people can donate and take items for free—no exchange of money, just a spirit of giving and sustainability. It’s an opportunity to bring things that no longer serve you, like clothes, books, toys, or household items, and offer them to others who might need them. It's also a great place to find something new-to-you without having to spend anything!

How Does It Work?

1. Bring Your Gently Used Items: Whether it's clothing, accessories, books, ceremonial supplies or useful household goods, bring things you no longer need and drop them off at our Free Store.

2. Browse and Take What You Need: Everything at the Free Store is available for anyone to take—free of charge. If you find something that calls to you, it's yours to keep!

3. Respect the Spirit of Sharing: While taking items is free, we encourage people to only take what they truly need. The idea is to circulate goods and foster community, not to hoard.

4. Feel Good About It: Not only are you helping others, but you’re also reducing waste. By giving things a second life, you’re helping minimize the impact of consumption and keeping perfectly good items out of landfills.

Why is the Free Store Important?

In today’s world, landfills are overflowing with perfectly usable items—clothes, electronics, furniture, and much more. By embracing a Free Store model, we contribute to reducing waste, reusing goods, and promoting a circular economy where things are shared, rather than discarded. The environmental benefits are clear:

- Reduce Waste: Instead of throwing away things we no longer use, we keep them circulating in the community where they are needed.

- Help the Planet: The more we recycle, share, and repurpose, the less pressure there is on natural resources and landfill space.

- Create Community: A Free Store isn’t just about giving away items—it’s about creating a space for connection, sustainability, and mutual support. It’s a way to meet people, share, and engage in a collective effort to make the world a little more generous.

So, as you pack your bags for the Wild Woman Weekend, think about what you can bring to the Free Store! It's a fun, eco-friendly way to give back, make new connections, and reduce our collective environmental footprint.

Together, we can make a big difference. Let's keep our stuff out of landfills and pass it along to someone who will appreciate it!

Community Weaving.png
Community Weaving

Join us for a transformative weaving experience at the Wild Woman Weekend, where we will celebrate the timeless art of weaving as a powerful tool for creativity, connection, and cultural expression. This hands-on community weaving project invites women of all backgrounds to come together, share stories, and weave their own unique tapestry that symbolizes strength, resilience, and collective power.

Rooted in tradition, our project highlights the historical significance of weaving as an expression of women's labor, creativity, and resistance. Textiles have been used throughout history as both a form of cultural preservation and a means of protest against oppressive systems. From the ancient weavings of Indigenous cultures to the political textiles of African women and the art of resistance through craft in colonial and modern contexts, this project aims to honor the deep cultural significance of weaving. Participants can engage in creative expression, and contribute to a communal tapestry that reflects our shared experiences and collective journey as women. As we weave, we will not only create art but also create connections with each other, celebrating the power of women’s labor, creativity, and solidarity. By participating, you will be part of a larger narrative of women who have used weaving as a means of survival, empowerment, and protest. This project is about more than just creating textiles—it’s about weaving a stronger, more connected community, honoring our ancestral practices, and reclaiming the power of women’s work in shaping the world around us.

Whether you’re a seasoned weaver or a first-timer, come be a part of this empowering, creative journey at Wild Woman Weekend. Let's weave together our stories, our resistance, and our future.

Though we have a lot of material to work with for this project, if you have scrap fabric, yarn, or other material for weaving that you would love to bring to add to the collective, please do so!!!

Voices Made Visible: The Craftivist Table

This is where we turn our feelings into fuel. Where we get messy, get honest, and make things that speak loud when words fall short.

Come make protest signs, buttons, and whatever else your soul needs to say. Whether it’s rage, grief, hope, or a call for change—this is your space to create it. No perfection needed. Just truth.

We’ll have some supplies, but if you’ve got markers, stickers, paint, poster board, or anything crafty to share, bring it along. The table grows stronger with what we all bring to it.

Let’s make our voices visible—together.

Reproductive Activism

Why Donating Matters

During the Wild Woman Weekend, we accept donations of reproductive health products for domestic violence shelters in Michigan. Let's beat last year, and collect as much as we can! Ask around and see if anyone you know will be willing to donate to the cause, and bring the products to the Wild Woman Weekend.

At Sacred Medicine Sisterhood, we celebrate empowerment, community, and the incredible strength of women. As part of our mission to uplift each other, we’re excited to announce another year of collecting reproductive health products. This is more than just a donation drive—it's a call to action for reproductive activism, and here's why it's so important.

Reproductive health products are a basic need for many, yet they are often overlooked when we think about essential resources for women. For those experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, or other crises, access to reproductive health products can be a serious challenge. Women's shelters, where many individuals and families seek refuge, often have limited supplies, and the cost of these products can prevent people from being able to manage their reproductive health with dignity.

Why is this important?

1. Basic dignity and health: Having access to reproductive health products ensures that women can manage their reproductive health in a hygienic and comfortable way. When shelters lack these products, it can lead to unnecessary stress, discomfort, and even health risks.

2. Breaking the stigma: Reproductive health is a natural part of life, yet it's often treated as a taboo topic. By actively supporting this cause, we help normalize conversations around reproductive health, reduce stigma, and emphasize that it's not something to be ashamed of.

3. A practical need: Unlike other forms of donations, reproductive health products are items that are often not available for free, yet they are absolutely necessary. Your contributions can directly impact someone's quality of life during a challenging time.

4. Solidarity and support: When we come together as a community to donate reproductive health products, we send a message of solidarity. We show that we care, that we are paying attention to the needs of others, and that we understand the challenges they face.

Homelessness is a serious issue that affects millions of people around the world. For many homeless women and girls, access to reproductive health products is a constant struggle. These products are essential for maintaining good hygiene and health, yet they can be expensive and difficult to come by when living on the streets.

Without access to these products, homeless women and girls may resort to using unsanitary and dangerous materials. This can lead to serious health problems including infections, reproductive issues and even death.

It is important that we work to increase access to reproductive health products for those in need. This can be done through donations to local organizations that provide these products, advocating for increased government funding for reproductive health services, and spreading awareness about the issue. No one should have to suffer due to lack of access to basic necessities.

How you can help:

During our Wild Woman Weekend, we encourage you to bring unopened boxes or packages of reproductive health products to donate. These items will go directly to women's shelters where they are most needed.

Here’s a list of suggested donations:

- Tampons

- Pads

- Menstrual cups

- Pantyliners

- Period underwear

- Feminine hygiene wipes

- condoms of all kinds

- Opil

- emergency contraception

- etc..

We’ll have collection bins set up at the event, and your generosity will make a meaningful difference to women in need.

Together, we can make Wild Woman Weekend not only a celebration of strength and connection, but also a platform for creating real, tangible change in our communities. Let’s support reproductive health equity and ensure that every woman has the products she needs to live with dignity.

Thank you for your generosity!

Red Tent.png
Red Tent Temple

Come, dear, come closer.

There is a place beyond the noise and the doing. A place stitched together with threads of old blood, river-water memory, and the songs of those who walked before us with bare feet and bold hearts. It is red—not the red of danger, but the red of life. Of birth. Of root. Of fire and ripening.

This is the Red Tent Temple.

And it is here for you.

Not to fix you.

Not to change you.

But to receive you—as you are. In your fullness, your fatigue, your fury, your fertile knowing.

Within its walls, you will find the hush of listening women, the lull of breath in rhythm with the earth, the gaze of those who see beneath. You may come carrying grief or joy, silence or song. You may come to remember the parts of you that have been silenced, starved, or stolen.

Inside, we sit in the old ways—circle ways.

Not top-down. Not front-to-back.

But heart-to-heart.

There may be altars of wild things—bones, feathers, fruit. There may be whispers, dreams, tears that finally fall. There may be nothing at all but a warm place to rest your weary animal body.

The Red Tent Temple at Wild Woman Weekend is not performance—it is presence.

It is not spectacle—it is soul.

And it is open to all who carry or seek the sacred feminine within them—women, trans women, nonbinary kin, queer ones, elders, maidens, mothers, crones, and those who have never had a word for what they are but know it when they feel it.

The Tent remembers you.

Even if you have forgotten yourself.

Come. Let your wild self lay down her burdens. Let your story rise from the bones. Let yourself be held.
