Backwoods Medium
Heather Ward aka Backwoods Medium has facilitated numerous group readings, medium galleries, special events, workshops, and investigations over the years at many metaphysical and paranormal events! Here's a few words from Heather: "My mediumship started when I was about 20 years old. I noticed an intuition that would occur around pregnant women. After starting to pick up on these coincidences; I started to pay attention and began noticing my gifts evolved into recognizing spirits that were around me. Overall, it took years to recognize and develop my craft into what it is today. Learning and growing in this work never stops.
I invest time and energy into my craft everyday to better my skills and mediumship to better serve my clients.

Bohemian Awakenings
With over 30 years as a master makeup artist, henna became my meditative refuge long before it became my calling. What began as quiet personal practice grew into a 27-year journey of adorning brides, blessing bellies, and marking life’s sacred thresholds...from bridal showers to weddings to the tender seasons of motherhood. I had the rare joy of following many women through their entire arc of transformation, skin to soul. Now in my crone years, I’ve returned to henna, one of my heart-centered offerings, rooted in presence, intention, and connection. Having retired from makeup, I left the modern world with my family and I live off-grid in a vintage Lincoln Log cabin on a homestead nestled deep within the Manistee National Forest. My work today is slow, soulful, and grounded...an invitation to pause, be seen, and carry beauty with meaning.
