🌕 Blood Moon Release & Preparation Guide 🌕

The Blood Moon Harvest & Total Lunar Eclipse — September 7, 2025
Sisters, mark your hearts: the skies are preparing a sacred spectacle. On this night, the Full Corn Moon rises in mystical Pisces, cloaked in the shadow of a Total Lunar Eclipse. Across the world, the Moon will bleed copper-red, a reminder of the cycles we honor and the sacred alchemy of release and renewal.
The Corn Moon has always whispered to the harvest within and around us—our efforts, our gratitude, our abundance. Pisces brings a veil of deep intuition, of the waters that carry our longings, our fears, our unspoken truths. And the eclipse, this cosmic pause, asks us to let go: old wounds, patterns that no longer serve, stories that bind our hearts.
Astrologically, this eclipse touches 15° Pisces, forming a gentle trine to Jupiter in Cancer. The Universe conspires to support our healing if we are brave enough to step into its current. There is power in reflection, in the quiet gaze into our own depths, in the water of our emotions flowing freely.
Even if the Blood Moon isn’t visible from your window, feel its pull. Light a candle, sit with your journal, walk barefoot on the earth, immerse yourself in the sacred waters of remembrance. Let this eclipse carry away what must be released, making room for the new, the sacred, and the wild.
This is a night for letting the cosmos whisper to your soul: to trust the unseen currents, to honor your cycles, and to receive the blessings of transformation.
The Moon calls us to witness, to surrender, to rise anew.
🌊 Blood Moon Preparation Ritual Bath 🌊
Purpose: To cleanse, ground, and open yourself to the transformational energy of the Blood Moon and Lunar Eclipse.
Ingredients:
Warm water – enough to submerge or soak comfortably
Sea salt or Himalayan pink salt – 1/2–1 cup, for purification
Dried herbs (choose 2–3):
Lavender — for calm and clarity
Rosemary — for protection and purification
Mugwort — to heighten intuition and dreamwork
Chamomile — to soothe emotional tension
Rose or hibiscus petals — for love, compassion, and connection to the heart
Optional crystals: moonstone, amethyst, selenite — placed around the bath or near your head
Instructions:
Set the Scene-Dim the lights, light candles (red, silver, or white), and play soft, sacred music or drumming. Make your bathroom or bathing space feel like a temple.
Prepare the Water-Fill your bath with warm water. Add sea salt first, then the herbs and flower petals. Drop in the citrus slices. Stir the water clockwise with intention, saying:"I call the waters to cleanse, to open, and to prepare me for sacred release."
Optional Crystal Placement-Place crystals around the tub or on your body (forehead, heart, belly) to amplify your intention.
Enter Mindfully-Step into the bath slowly, imagining the water washing away tension, fear, and stagnation. Breathe deeply, letting each inhale bring in calm and each exhale release what no longer serves you.
Meditate or Visualize-Close your eyes. Visualize the Blood Moon above you, its red light soaking into your skin, infusing your being with courage, clarity, and surrender. Allow the water to carry away doubts, grief, and old patterns.
Release Intention-Speak aloud or in your mind: "I am ready to release, to heal, to be reborn beneath the sacred Moon. I enter this ritual with an open heart and clear spirit."
Close the Bath-When you are ready, rise slowly, allowing the water to drip off as a final blessing. Wrap yourself in a soft towel or robe. Do not rinse off the oils or petals if you can; let the energy remain on your skin for the ritual to come.
Blood Moon in Pisces Eclipse Ceremony: A Sacred Tide of Release and Renewal
Timing: September 7, 2025, during the eclipse, or the evening before/after.
Tools: White or silver candle, sea salt, rose petals or sacred herbs, journal & pen, bowl of water, fire safe dish, optional crystals (moonstone, amethyst, selenite).
This ritual can be performed alone or with sisters, in silence or with soft drumming, chanting, or music. The key is intention, presence, and surrender.
1. Prepare Your Space
Cleanse your altar or chosen ritual area. Light your candle(s) and place your bowl of water nearby. Lay your crystals in a circle or grid around your ritual space. Take a few slow breaths and allow your body to arrive fully in this sacred moment.
Tip: If possible, perform this ritual outdoors or near a window where you can see the Moon, even if it’s hidden by clouds.
2. Grounding & Invocation
Close your eyes. Feel your feet on the earth. Imagine roots extending down, deep into the soil, anchoring you, drawing up strength.
State:
"I stand here beneath the sacred Moon, in the waters of my own becoming. I call the powers of release, the wisdom of the Blood Moon, and the gentle grace of Pisces to guide me."
Allow your breath to carry your intentions into the world.
3. Writing & Releasing
Take your pen and paper. Write down what you are ready to release: old fears, limiting beliefs, grief, toxic patterns, relationships, or anything that dims your light. Be specific. Speak honestly to yourself.
Once complete, read it aloud if you wish, then safely burn the paper in your fire-safe dish. As the smoke rises, say:
"I release this into the fire. It no longer holds me. I am free, I am open, I am reborn."
4. Water Purification
Dip your fingers into the bowl of water. Touch your face, hands, and heart, or simply let the water run through your palms. Imagine it washing away the residue of what you’ve released. Say:
"I am cleansed. I am renewed. I flow with the cycles of the Moon, trusting the currents of my own heart."
5. Somatic Closing
Move your body—stretch, sway, dance, or breathe deeply. Allow the energy of release to integrate. Feel the weight lifting, the edges softening, the space opening for new beginnings.
6. Closing Gratitude
Bow your head, place your hands over your heart, and speak a final blessing:
"Thank you, sacred Moon, for your guidance, your shadow, your light. May what is released return to the earth in service and may I rise renewed, wild, and whole."
Extinguish your candle, leaving your altar as you found it—or keep a small light burning overnight to honor the lingering energy.
