The Inner Circle

I want to share this amazing experience I had during Rae's workshop. It was during the meditation.

I only have one older sibling, who was 4 when I was born. He thought everything was great until I came along and resented me for being born. When my mom came home from the hospital with me, he locked my grandmother out of the apartment while my mother was in the shower and tried to suffocate me with a pillow. So, during the meditation, I went to him and told him that someday, we were going to be a great source of help for each other and that he should let me live. I told him that mom and dad had enough love for both of us and there was nothing to worry about. I unlocked the door and let my grandma back in. My mom got out of the shower and then I realized that all forms of the goddess were present: the maiden, mother and crone. Instead of punishing him, the mother and crone taught him how to care for and protect me. I left knowing that my inner child was safe.

Sometimes we don't how that healing is taking place inside of each other and I wanted to share. Thanks, Rae, for facilitating with such vulnerability and truth, holding space so that I could protect and heal my inner child <3
