Sacred Rebuilding

There is a kind of grief no one prepares you for.

No rituals for it.

No name carved into stone.

Just a slow, quiet unraveling of a life that was never truly yours—stitched together by survival, silence, and the illusion of safety.

Recovering from narcissistic abuse is not just healing.

It is a soul retrieval.

A descent. A dismemberment. A holy reckoning.

It is the death of a thousand dreams—of who you thought they were, of who you thought you were, of the life you contorted yourself to earn, only to learn love should never be bought with your own disappearance.

And still… the world does not pause. Children need dinner. Rent is due. The emails pile up. The earth spins and you rise—bleeding, disoriented, clutching at scraps of self-trust while trying to rebuild your business, your livelihood, your name—in a society that gaslights, consumes, and commodifies women’s pain.

There is no applause for this work. No blueprint. No pension.

Just the raw-boned will of a woman who refuses to pass her pain down one more generation.

And that? That is sacred.

Because here's the truth I’m living: When you’ve been trained to abandon yourself, to question your own gut, to betray your needs just to be tolerated—relearning to trust yourself is radical. It is activism. It is alchemy.

And gods, it is terrifying. Some days, I don’t know who I am. Some days, I grieve the woman I used to be—not because I want her back, but because I now understand how much she carried in silence.

And yet, even in the ache, there is a strange kind of grace. I am watching myself rise. Not polished. Not certain. Not yet whole. But true. Honest. Powerful in ways the old version of me never imagined.

This is what it looks like to rebuild your life, one breath, one boundary, one brave-ass decision at a time.

To all the women doing this sacred, invisible labor—the cycle-breakers, the shadow-walkers, the ones mothering themselves in real time—you are not alone. You are the medicine. And you are already succeeding, even on the days you feel like you’re falling apart.
