There is a quiet distortion that runs through many cultures like a current beneath the surface, subtle enough to feel like truth if you are not paying close attention. A woman becomes clear in herself, begins to speak without shrinking, begins to move toward what she wants with steady hands and an unhurried kind of certainty, begins to trust her own knowing in a way that does not ask permission or soften itself for approval, and almost immediately something in the collective story shifts around her.

What is actually being witnessed is not a change in her essence but a change in her availability to be misread. The same qualities that are celebrated in others begin to fracture under cultural perception when they live inside a woman who is no longer contorting herself into legibility. Confidence is recast as arrogance, clarity becomes aggression, self-possession becomes something suspect, as if a…

The Festival of Goodwill: Pride, Belonging, and One Human Family

Happy June 1st.

Happy Pride Month.

This year, Pride arrives just one day after the Full Moon of May 31, still within the five-day window that many esoteric traditions recognize as a time of heightened spiritual reflection, connection, and goodwill.

I recently read a beautiful reflection by Mark A. Shryock on what he calls the Festival of Goodwill, or the Festival of Humanity. Drawing from the Ageless Wisdom teachings, he describes this Full Moon as an invitation to remember that beneath our differences, identities, beliefs, backgrounds, and lived experiences, we are one human family.

Welcome to The Inner Circle  ~ a hearth at the heart of the Sacred Medicine Sisterhood, where words become prayer and stories are stitched together like a patchwork quilt of soul. This is a tender gathering place for raw truth, whispered poetry, sacred journaling, and the quiet murmurings of the deep feminine.

Here, we honor the wild, the weary, the wise ~ the parts of us that don’t always have a place in the outer world, but are deeply known in this circle. This space is not for performance, but for presence. It is a den of listening and being listened to. A place to bring the bones of your stories and lay them down gently, to be witnessed without judgment.

We are not here to fix or polish ~ only to hold, to feel, and to remember. To write as though the soul is speaking. To be together in the sacred hush of truth-telling.

You are welcome here, just as you are.
